Woods is wise choice for Congress

By this time, with less than a week to the primary elections, all households have received dozens of fliers from candidates for the 10th Congressional District.

Having read everything, and having heard candidates' statements, I've decided to cast my vote for Anthony Woods.

At 29 years of age, this West Point- and Harvard-educated newcomer with war experience in Iraq has proven to be a unique citizen leader. He lived the consequence of politicians' wrong decision (two Iraq war assignments) and believes that entrenched California politicians are the problems, not the solution. Can low-rated California representatives improve Congress's even lower public ratings?

Anthony Woods is committed to fighting special interests, bringing transparency to government and pursuing mutually beneficial partnerships with federal state and local governments. He has fresh ideas on health care, immigration, budget problems and global warming. His educational background and military experience will benefit our Fairfield-Suisun area.
